WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE F&I MANAGER POSITION!?

Over the years, I have found the F&I Manager position to be one of the more stable(less turn over) management positions in dealerships, especially front end positions.  Something dramatic is happening to change that status!  F&I has been our #1 search position over the last 18 months by a significant margin and right now represents over 25% of all opportunities for which we are conducting searches!

The quick answer is process and technology enhancements, but that is true for all management positions in dealerships.  If you have any theories, please let me know!
